Well, hello to you, that must looking for the best quality-price relationship. cheers and enjoy. I had a Technics rpdj1100 (which broke down after 3 years of use, that's why I tryed the pinoeers) and finally I went back to the rpdj 1200.
but there is a but, a year and a half after buying, I suppose because of the folding, which is nice, appart of the problem I had, one of the headpones went off (IT EBCAME A MONO HEADPHONE WHICH IS NOT THE REAL JOB. I DO NOT want to do a bad propaganra to pinoneer, I would recomend, but must take care of them. When I met the Pioneer headphones I discovered a new dimenshion, the best part of it was the mono-stereo one ear two listening function depending on the mixing device, that really allows you to listen one track in one ear and the second comming up in your second ear, perfect function, i really loved that function when mixing.so bueautifull.
I am very sory for pioneer, but the technics, even whithout the 2 songs listening option, are much more comfortable and reliable, the rpdj1200 are still standing and going. CAREFULL 1 YEAR WORK.)., and really difficult to bring it back (I WORKED HARD ON IT BUT.I LOST THE REAL GOOD SOUND QUALITY THAT IT HAD ON THE BEGINING). The other NO against thesse pioneer headphons is that they seem, at firt eye quiet comfortable, but, after tasting, not that much, you can use them nicelly for half an hour, after that you can sense some tierdness on you ears.
I hope this review can help you. Really good sound quallity, lack of comfort and relyability.
I've been a DJ for over 15 Years, have had most of all DJ headphones. These are really nice, the sound is really clear, but after a 6 months of DJing with them they broke. This is a issue everybody have been talking about, didnt put to much attention to that but now that they broke i wanted to share my review. BTW pioneer doesnt give ur money back.
The only criticism is that when the ear pads start to wear the black coating flakes off and winds up on my skin. They have the best and loudest bass response. I have tried many headphones, but always come back to the Poineer HDJ 1000 DJ. But once they have all fallen off they are fine again. They fit well for leaving one side off the ear for club cueing. The spiralcord is sturdy as well as the rest of the construction. I have yet to wear a pair out. they usually get stolen before that happens.
When I saw the price, I was skeptical of the product but it serves my purpose and I take great care. The sound is good. I wish there was a feature that could let you control the individual channels. It is a great equipment for the price and my need
This is a really poor quality product. Please don't buy it. they are broken very easy and the guarantee does not cover broken pieces. Ja.
